professional, qualified practitioners who are placed within your organisation.
Onsite occupational health provision is designed to support the delivery of both operational and
strategic occupational health activity as required by you.

Operational OH activities includes for example:
- Occupational health assessments (New starter/Re-deployment/Exit)
- Sickness absence management referrals for advice regarding; ill health, absence or performance
related to health
- Rehabilitation and return to work (round table case conferencing)
- Statutory health surveillance (e.g. noise/vibration/COSHH)
- Non-statutory fitness for work assessments (e.g. fork lift truck / PSV or LGV drivers)
Strategic OH activities are key service activities that underpin the "upstream" health risk
management approach within an organisation and include for example:
- Occupational Health Management reporting on trends and areas for intervention
- Policy & Procedure Audit & Advice from OH/Medical perspective
- Health & Safety Committee – contribution towards health risk management
- Ergonomic workplace assessments & advice on health risk management – e.g. pregnant workers
- Occupational health training and awareness sessions for staff and managers e.g. Induction,
Health Surveillance, Sickness Absence etc.
- Health Awareness, Promotion & Education activities
Strategic OH services should form part of the organisation's overall strategy to reduce
business risk as well as being innovative and adding value to operational efficiency and performance.
An onsite OH service model is charged on an hourly basis and usually requires a minimum of two days
per week (7.5 hours per day) over a standard 47 weeks per year.
A tailored proposal would be provided upon further dialogue around service requirements to ensure the
best service model is offered to meet the needs and concerns of your organisation.
