Self-employed or Zero-Hour Occupational Health Technician’s (OHT) Required

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Technician (OHT) to deliver health surveillance clinics for our client in Kings Lynn, 2-4 days per month.
This is available on either a self-employed or zero-hours contract basis.

About you, you will:
- Be an experienced and/or qualified OHT with ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience, however individuals with less experience may be considered;
- If wanting self-employed - be able to provide up to date insurance(s) as appropriate;
- Have own car and full driving licence;
- Have experience of carrying out the following and be able to provide up-to-date certification as appropriate: Spiro, Audio, skin assessments, vision screening, blood pressure screening, heart rate, height and weight measurements, MSK assessments, including very occasional HAVS T1.
Note - our customer will provide a laptop and health surveillance equipment.
About the health surveillance clinics:
- Some of the clinics will be planned well in advance, some may be more ad-hoc or to provide cover as required;
- You must ideally be able to work at 2-4 days a month, however, individuals with less frequent availability may also be considered;
- You will be required to be on a customer site for a total of 7.5 hours per day (or 4 hours half day);
- COPE will provide relevant training on COPE’s systems, policies and procedures.
